Hawthorne Research, Training and Development (HRT+D) had the opportunity to evaluate a limited number of Nextorch batons. The evaluation of three test batons identified possible positive operational and training benefits for public safety agencies.

The following is a partial excerpt from HRT+D’s Evaluation Report: “Test ratings demonstrate that the test batons provided to the evaluator performed extremely well under most conditions, no meaningful structural damage was encountered/observed, and only minimal surface damage (cosmetic in nature) resulted from the kinetic stress testing (Parts “E” and “F”).”
